Find Help

Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless is not a direct services provider. We do not have or manage any shelter space or other resources for the homeless, and we are not able to get you connected to resources that are not otherwise publicly available. We do not collect or distribute donations for Minnesotans experiencing homelessness.

If you’re in crisis, our best recommendation is always to call 2-1-1 from wherever you are in the state. That will connect you to the United Way, which runs a 24-hour crisis connection center. You can also reach the same line by text at 898-211, or toll free at 1-800-543-7709

If you’re looking for somewhere to donate goods or supplies, we can’t take any of them off your hands. Several of our member organizations can, along with allied groups around the state. A few options include Lutheran Social Services, People Serving People, Catholic Charities, Bridging, and the St. Paul Camps Hub. You can find a more detailed list of sites through Open Your Heart’s Nonprofit In-Kind Needs guide.
