We lack the capacity to meet the shelter and housing needs of individuals and families across the state. We need to see homeless shelters as temporary housing for individuals and families until they move into permanent homes. Without state support, saving lives and ending homelessness is not a real possibility. We need an additional $25M in bonds for homeless shelters in the bonding bill.
The goal of this Twitterstorm is to build momentum around a bonding bill that pushes for an additional $25M bonds for shelter.

A Twitterstorm is simply a short period of time during which advocates join together to send a high volume of tweets on a specific topic.
