Precinct Caucus Resolution to Prevent and End Homelessness

It’s an off election year but if your local party is hosting precinct caucuses on Tuesday February 3, be sure to bring along the Resolution to Prevent and End Homelessness. A PDF is available hereResolutions - 2015

Resolution to Prevent and End Homelessness

Whereas an estimated 14,000 Minnesotans are homeless on any given night and 13,000 school children lack stable housing; and

Whereas expanding housing options and economic opportunity is the most humane and cost-effective approach to addressing homelessness; and

Whereas housing stability promotes better health, education, and economic outcomes;

Be it resolved that the Legislature and the Governor enact policies and increase resources to prevent homelessness, promote stable housing, and expand economic opportunity.
