Thank you for attending the 2025 MCH Conference, Facing the Moment: Building Community Relationships. We’re so grateful you joined us in Rochester to connect, learn, and take a moment to reflect on the important work we all do to end homelessness in Minnesota and beyond.
With over 700 attendees, our second-largest turnout ever, this year’s conference was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we come together in community.
⭐ #MCHConf Highlights
Your presence helped make this conference a success, and we hope you found it energizing and inspiring. We want to share a few highlights that reflect the values of the MCH Advocacy Model and the leadership of people with lived experience:
- ~60% of workshops were led by individuals who have experienced homelessness
- ~45% of workshops were led by BIPOC presenters
- The Lived Experience Advocacy Network led our scholarship process for the first time, bringing 60 individuals with lived experience to the conference at no cost
- Accessibility volunteers provided support across the event
- Every plenary session featured speakers with lived experience, reflecting our commitment to elevating skilled, lived experience leadership
- We also received earned media coverage that helped amplify our message statewide:
(Note: These percentages are based on the limited demographic data collected from 1–2 key presenters per session, so the actual representation was likely even higher.)
