Congratulations to Rep. Bob Gunther!

Rep. Gunther received the Southern Minnesota Regional Housing Academy “Legislator of the Year” award.

Rep. Gunther has played a critical role in promoting affordable housing programs and successfully preserved the funding for the state’s Affordable Housing Challenge Fund, which was slated for significant cuts in 2005.

In a recent issue of the St. Paul Legal Ledger, Rep. Gunther stated: “In order to have economic development in Minnesota and job growth, we need to have certain things. We have to have someone who is willing to gamble their resources to provide jobs. We have to have a trained workforce, and just as importantly we have to have housing for that workforce.”
