MCH Issues Call For Presenters for Fall Conference

Annual Conference will be held September 29-30 at the Minneapolis Hilton. 

MCH’s 25-year milestone reminds us that at one point we more than hoped for an end to homelessness.  We expected it.  In the wake of budget cuts and a slow economy, this year’s conference will call for reflection on the persistence of mass homelessness, for skill-building to prevent homelessness, and for a new spirit of commitment and determination to eradicate this social ill.   We are particularly interested in proposals that provide tangible suggestions for:
ü  Working across sectors to prevent and end homelessness
ü  Addressing emerging issues in the field
ü  Moving forward  on recommendations from the Legislative Commission to End Poverty
