MCH Hits the Ground Running at the Capitol

  • Bonding Bill – Seeks $10 million in bonding that can be used for shelter, transitional housing, or permanent supportive housing. (This is in addition to the Governor’s recommendation for $30 million to support construction and rehab of permanent supportive housing.)
  • Runaway & Homeless Youth Act (HF 537 / SF 980) – seeks funding for the RHYA.
  • Shelter/Transitional Housing Bill (HF 758 / SF 992) – seeks increased funding for emergency shelter and transitional housing.
  • Greater Minnesota Continuum of Care Funding (HF 1131 / SF 990) – seeks funding for Greater MN COC coordination and HMIS.
  • Police/Provider Homeless Outreach (HF 3231) – seeks an additional $400,000 for homeless outreach in Moorhead, Mankato, Rochester, and Saint Cloud.
  • Discharge from County Jails (SF 859) – seeks funding for Discharge Planning.
