The Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless relies on the generosity and support of individuals like you to sustain the work to end homelessness. You can help make a huge difference!

What is House Parties for Homes?

HPH is a grassroots event to support the Coalition and raise awareness about homelessness. Sponsors host a house party with their friends to benefit the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless. Suggested donations can range anywhere from $25, $50 to $100.

Why host a House Party for Homes?

The Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless is only able to operate because of individual supporters. House parties are a great way to engage your friends and families in this important mission.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 from 10-15 house parties and engage over 500 new supporters in the work to end homelessness.

Do I have to host it at my house?

No. House parties can take place at your favorite restaurant, cafe, a public park, or anywhere people can gather.

How much do House Parties for Homes raise?

On average, each house party raises about $2,000 – $3,000. Can you raise more? Less? Any amount helps make a difference!

How do I start?

Planning a House Party for Homes is very similar to planning any other event. Pick a date, time and location. Give your attendees 4 to 6 weeks notice to be sure they can make it.

One of the best ways to reach a fundraising goal is to recruit 5 to 10 co-hosts who will commit to bringing a certain dollar amount or number of friends. For more information contact Kenza Hadj-Moussa.
