5/28/09 - OEO informational mtg on federal stimulus funds

The Minnesota Department of Human Services/ Office of Economic Opportunity will be holding an informational meeting on the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Rehousing Program (HPRP) on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the St. Cloud Civic Center from 9:30 to 12:00. The main topic of the meeting will be discussion of the upcoming Request for Proposals for HPRP funding that is tentatively scheduled to be released in late May or early June. Although all local units of government and non-profit agencies are eligible to apply for this funding and are invited to attend this meeting, these funds are primarily targeted to areas of the state that do not receive HPRP direct funding. The directly funded areas are Minneapolis, St. Paul, Duluth, Hennepin County, Dakota County and St. Louis County.
