Coalition to Host Advocacy and Leadership Retreat for College Students
Historically, student movements have been the powerful initiators of systems change. The Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless sees great potential for student’s role in the movement to end poverty and homelessness. As such, the Coalition will host an Advocacy and Leadership Retreat October17-18, 2008 that provides students the unique opportunity to learn movement-building skills in a practical way by focusing on student organizations and activism.
