Access to affordable health care is a priority issue for the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless. The 2009-2011 Save GAMC campaign and Affordable Care Act implementation opened doors for affordable health care for low-income Minnesotans.
Health Care & Homelessness was the theme of MCH’s 2012 Annual Conference.
MCH’s executive director, Liz Kuoppala, was appointed by the Governor to sit on the Health Care Exchange Outreach Committee to make sure the new health care exchange works for people experiencing homelessness across the state.
