Homelessness is not inevitable! Good public policy can create an environment where homelessness is rare and dealt with quickly when it occurs. It includes the promotion of wide-ranging prevention strategies while ensuring a seamless affordable housing and homelessness service continuum. A seamless continuum includes street outreach, emergency shelter, transitional and permanent supportive housing, and a mix of affordable housing options.
Good public policy only happens, however when individuals like you play an active role advancing it!

REGISTRATION: OPENS AT 8:00 AM; TRAINING BEGINS AT 9:00 AM. Sorry for any inaccurate times which may have been distributed. Also, when completely filling out the on-line form, please remember that legislators prefer to meet with individuals who live in the district they represent. As such, we request that you please share with us your home address so we can set up meetings with the legislators who represent the area in which you live.
Also, please tell us if you require a meal voucher (we have a limited number of vouchers, so please check only if you have a financial need) and if you would like information about serving as a team leader.
