There are 297,000 low-income households in Minnesota who can’t afford their housing and that number is expected to grow to 330,000 households by 2010. (“The Next Decade of Housing in Minnesota,” BBC Research and Consulting, 2003.) Progress must start now to address this rapidly growing affordable housing crisis.

Do your part to help low-income households in Minnesota afford their housing!

States, counties, and cities across the United States, including some in Minnesota, have already created their own significant new dedicated funding streams for affordable housing, which has in turn greatly benefited their respective communities.

It’s time for Minnesota to follow suit! Do your part to encourage Minnesota’s lawmakers to support significant, new dedicated funding for affordable housing.

Our Goal

Join the growing chorus of organizations that have endorsed the Housing Solutions Act and join the Housing Solutions Alliance, a statewide campaign to secure significant new dedicated funding for affordable housing.

Help the Alliance reach its goal of securing the support of 1,000 organizations by January 2007!
